Isaiah 49
The Restoration of Israel
8 Thus says the LORD: "In
a time of favor I have answered you;
in a day of salvation I have helped you;
I will keep you and give you
as a covenant to the people,
to establish the land,
to apportion the desolate heritages,
9 saying to the prisoners, 'Come
out,'
to those who are in darkness, 'Appear.'
They shall feed along the ways;
on all bare heights shall be their pasture;
10 they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.
11 And I will make all my mountains
a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.
12 Behold, these shall come from
afar,
and behold, these from the north and from the west,[a]
and these from the land of Syene."[b]
13 Sing for joy, O heavens,
and exult, O earth;
break forth, O mountains, into singing!
For the LORD has comforted his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted.
14 But Zion said, "The
LORD has forsaken me;
my Lord has forgotten me."
15 "Can a woman forget
her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
16 Behold, I have engraved you on
the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.
17 Your builders make haste;[c]
your destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from
you.
18 Lift up your eyes around and see;
they all gather, they come to you.
As I live, declares the LORD,
you shall put them all on as an ornament;
you shall bind them on as a bride does.

Romans 1
Longing to Go to Rome
8 First, I thank my God through
Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. 9
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son,
that without ceasing I mention you 10 always
in my prayers, asking that somehow by God’s will I may now at last succeed in
coming to you. 11 For I long to see
you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— 12
that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both
yours and mine. 13 I want you to
know, brothers,[a]
that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in
order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the
Gentiles. 14 I am under obligation
both to Greeks and to barbarians,[b]
both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So
I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
16 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to
the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For
in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith,[c]
as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."[d]

(translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament
usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or
to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s
family, the church

Holy Gospel,
Matthew 6:24-34
(ESV)
(God's care - don't worry.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew 6
24 [Jesus said:] "No
one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God
and money.[a]
Do Not Be Anxious
25
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will
eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not
life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27
And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[b]
28
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how
they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
29
yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of
these.
30
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow
is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little
faith?
31
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we
drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32
For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows
that you need them all.
33
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things
will be added to you.
34
"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious
for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
